In the Super Smash Bros Deluxe version of the game there is a hidden player you can earn.
​
It appears that Blue Toad was not in the game but some players have found out he is!
Hover over Toad (Yellow form) on the character select screen and hold either ZL or L. Toad will then change from Yellow to Blue Toad!
